Gordon, the owner of Cafe Harlequin, is a fantastic barista. The passion for coffee and quality products is fascinating and this results in probably the best coffee in York.
All the cappuccino's are served with latte art and made with fresh milk each time, heated to a perfect 65 °C. The milk is velvety without any bubbles and tastes extremely smooth. The coffee really comes through the milk and could be classed as medium to strong.
Cafe Harlequin is a coffee shop in the center of York but still offers that peace and quiet that you should expect from a quality coffee shop. Definitely worth a visit!
